I was talking to a friend once about D-Day and happened to mention Canada's contributions to the successes of the day, and he said: "Canada? I didn't even know they had an army!"

Yeah, 'cause if you don't go all over the world blasting and bombing people who are no threat to you, and plundering their resources, it must be because you don't have an army. :eyes:

The Canadian troops at Juno Beach were the only troops to accomplish all of their planned objectives for the first day of the invasion.
