I dont even know how to scramble eggs :). I can make frozen dinners :), and get already prepared food.

3. To scramble eggs:

Get yourself a pan. Get it nice and hot. (Contrary to what people say, it need not be teflon. I haven't put fire under a teflon pan in years. I recommend a well-seasoned cast iron skillet.)

Meanwhile, crack as many eggs as you want in a separate bowl. Add a splash of milk if you want; salt and pepper to taste. Scramble the hell out of your eggs with a fork or a whisk.

Add some butter to the hot pan. Let it get all frothy (but not smoky). This should only take a few seconds.

Dump the eggs into the hot pan. With a heat-proof spatula, keep stirring the eggs, scraping them up from the pan if necessary. Continue to stir and cook until the eggs are as firm as you want them. Turn off the heat, dump your eggs onto a plate.

7. Mmm.... I'm having a duck breast and some leek and potato soup

right now as my supper, while I'm typing this (though obviously my hands are busy typing at this *immediate* moment).
