Yesterday was moving day
The story so far: two months after moving from Houston to Montreal, finally found a decently located and priced place big enough for two hoomans, the cat horde, and all our stuff (or nearly all our stuff).

Mom ponied up for the move, and it took the pro crew all day, but finally around 9:30pm, we were able to sit down on the futon, look around, and start bitching about all the crap we have to unpack. :P

On today's plate: retrieve the horde from the vet, get cable/internet, assemble the bed (we slept at my sister's last night), and pack out of Sis' condo.

I'm exhausted, but I'm really excited. The place is awesome, we met the next-door neighbor and he's really nice (and he confirmed that the building is dead soundproof - the last tenant in our place had an all-night New Year's Eve rage, and the only time the neighbor heard anything was when he stepped out into the hallway).

Wow.
