Imagine

Something you should know about Imagine Lyrics

Title: John Lennon - Imagine lyrics

Artist: John Lennon

Print: John Lennon - Imagine Lyrics print version

Complimentary "Imagine" Ringtone

Imagine there's no Heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace

You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world

You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one

This song has been on my mind all day...

 Imagine :)

2. Everybody dreams
we don't always remember them

every 90 seconds we go through the REM cycle of sleep.

unless we are sedated or something in which case REM sleep can be disturbed or distorted. Some sleep disorders can disturb REM sleep for instance, sleep apnea can cause a person to wake up so often that they miss out on REM sleep. There is also some thought that REM sleep is necessary for rejuvenation of proper brain function and when one misses out on REM sleep they are deprived of dreaming and feel less refreshed. Sleep is a complicated affair, and lots of things are not understood well about it at all.

During REM sleep we dream. Some medications even make dreams more vivid

To remember a dream one has to be conscious for a long enough period of time to make a memory. That is usually a few minutes to get the right neurochemical messengers involved in memory storage going. Then a dream becomes memorable. Usually only anxiety dreams or dreams that contain a lot of emotion get remembered because they wake us up long enough to form the memory.

Some people train themselves to write down dreams when they awaken and are able to remember more dreams than others.

Now, my thread... to me is about the dream of John Lennon, that the world will be as one... if we got rid of all the barriers that we've constructed to make us separate, we would find ourselves at peace with the world and without reasons to fight or not get along. And the world will be as one.

Imagine :)
