The Devil In The White City

Summary

The Devil in the White City tells the story of the World's Columbian Exposition held in Chicago in 1893 to commemorate Christopher Columbus's discovery of America. The Devil in the White City intertwines the true tale of two men: Daniel Burnham and H. H. Holmes. Burnham, the chief architect and mastermind of the Exposition (also known as the White City) inadvertently created a perfect setting for Holmes, one of America's first serial killers.

1. If you can't put it down, how do you have a free hand to post?

3. Got to rest my eyes after a while of reading small print but I can't wait to get back to it
Think I am going to have to get one of those Portable Reader Systems and see if that is easier on my eyes.

No problem on the computer where I can make the fonts real big.

5. I was looking into something like that.
They're pretty expensive, so I might just try to save up and get a full-blown tablet PC or something.

His new one is Thunderstruck. Painful. It dragged mercilessly. I read the whole thing cuz I'm loyal like that but damn. :hi:
