Are you a fanatic about housecleaning?
I'm not a complete slob...I sure as hell don't have food on the floor or stuff like that...but I do have a "relaxed" attitude about housecleaning.

1. I am fanatical about trying to avoid it whenever I can.
I used to be rather good at it because MrG liked a clean house. Now, sometimes we have a new small puppy due to all the Jessie hair that rolls over into the corner. I don't have "biological mess" per se', just clutter mess.

laundry here
books there, some dishes that need to be swapped out in the dishwasher.

My current excuse..I've been sickly for the last 3 days.

5. No. I wish I were more fanatical about it, though.
I have a friend who is a complete freak about cleaning. Her house is absolutely immaculate at all times. Her kids are totally neurotic.

9. I am
I'm one of those everything in it's place kind of person. My friends will come over and move things around slightly just to get on my nerves. I usually give everything a thorough cleaning at least once a week whether it needs it or not

12. I am pretty fanatical about it.
Especially my white ceramic tile floors. I sweep and mop every day. Sickening, I know. But I do have 2 dogs, so they contribute lots of dirt and hair to the floors.

16. No doubt about the sweeping/mopping when you got dogs
we got two full grown poms, and five pups...all I do all day is sweep up hair, and mop piss....

14. Nope.
I seem to be all right with moderate amounts of clutter.

I don't like clothes on the floor or things like that... but paperwork / mail I seem to be more lax about. Much more lax.

accessories aka dust catchers, i should have pitched the whole lot right after i bought them.

But I do generate a lot of clutter. And I don't dust as often as I should since I sneeze uncontrollably for hours every time I do it.

I am weird about vacuuming. I hate for the carpet to be dirty. :D

25. I just like to know where things are
Everything in the house has a place and I like for it to be there so I can find it. It's how I learned to deal with confusion. So at first glance it looks neat here but there's a layer of dust on most stuff. And I hate to sweep, it hurts my back so bad.

but I have to admit, I'm lazy when I get home from work. It doesn't help living with a teenager, but I could make her clean up more if I got on her more. ho hum.

29. I have a seven year old boy. If I cared too much about the cleaning, I'd be on valium.
I try to keep the place reasonably tidy, enough that it could be fit for guests on fairly short notice, but I'm not fanatical about it.

31. My cousin came to visit
treated me and my spouse to dinner in the North End.

Complained that with the price of gas, they won't be taking their 50 ft yacht out of dry dock this summer...

and, oh, yes...

She won't be calling the window cleaner to clean the 17 windows in their penthouse quite as often as last year...
