3 sets of bombers, flanked by two escort fighter jets apiece...
just passed overhead within the last 10 minutes.

Is this some normal protocol?

5. About half an hour ago...
before the wave of 3 bombers we had a pair of F-16s practically right above the treetops. I thought my windows were done for.

12. Do bombers need escorts for an air show?
I don't know. Is it standard protocol? And what can a bomber do for an airshow anyway? They can't very well drop munitions on it....or maybe they drop turkeys...

11. Probably an air show.
The Blue Angels were practicing over my sister's neighborhood when I was there last week. It always freaks me out wondering if someone is going to make a mistake and crash into the neighborhood. :scared:

16. Every commisioning week we get the Blue Angels practice
runs right over the house and a day or so later the air show for the Naval Academy commisioning week. My dogs hate it and try to hide and my 5 year old cries.

18. There is no normal protocol
the andromeda strain has arrived

beware, it may just seem like a TV show, but it is actually a tabletop drill planned to simulate the actual viral agent that has been discovered in the wreckage of an interdimensional craft that crashed at Roswell in 1947.
