I almost didn't marry my husband because even the thought of the pain of someday losing him was almost more than I could stand. Then I realized how silly to miss out on the most wonderful thing to ever happen to me because of that fear.

31. It was our wedding day, July 19, 1996...the best day of my life.

We are standing on the threshold of a log cabin (one of the original houses in the township) that had been moved to the courtyard grounds. My grandfather (also now gone) was telling Leoanrd to pick me up to carry over the threshold and that is why he was laughing. I truly believe he was the most beautiful man on earth. Thanks orleans.
