3. I've known people who live like that.
Edited on Wed Feb-18-04 10:40 PM by NightTrain
Every one of them was an older person (40s-60s) who lived alone, had never been married, was unemployable due to a disability (physical and/or mental), and was pretty much clueless about the world outside their own little piece of it. Also, they were all articulate, intelligent people with whom you could have a highly stimulating conversation, albeit only about a limited number of subjects.

At first, I felt kind of sorry for those people, but eventually found them terminally annoying. As such, I ended up severing contact with all of them.

5. wow
some of the commentary was pretty funny.

I couldn't spend ten minutes in that actual house, though.

9. I guess her OCD specialty is hoarding.
OCD can manifest itself in many ways, and hoarding is one of them.

11. My friend's Mom is like that....
Not neccessarily THAT bad, but still pretty bad. My friend, in comparison, is completely opposite...her house is extremely clean and a little too bare.

12. That was so disturbing
I couldn't wait to get home so I could straighten up my house! I had some recycling sitting by the door, ready to go out, for a few days. I came home and did my recycling at midnight! I could not bear to think I had any clutter in my house, after seeing that!
