Poll question: What book should I read next?
I have already read Moore, Franken, Vidal, and Hedges resent books. I’m wrapping up reading a Novel and would like input on what political books DUers enjoyed.

2. I really like Palast's book
It'll open your eyes to what really happened in Florida during the 2000 election.

I'd like to read Mrs. Ivins at some point. My stack o' books is still waiting for me to wade through it before I can buy myself a new book.

4. I say "The Lies of George W. Bush" by David Corn.
It is a great read and he starts with the pattern of deception all the way back to his first run for Gov.

5. Krugman's Unravelling is compelling and disturbing
Krugman leans toward economic analysis, but that lends credence to his social commentary. At least you should read the first few articles, to get a firm idea of the Norquist plan to "starve the beast" which has been the driver behind the bush administration's priorities.
