I've been scarce around these parts. I'm trying to finish up all of my projects so I can play hooky for the summer.

3. Workin workin

We're bumming around at his parents' house for the weekend, which means... cable TV! So we're watching some Mythbusters. :D

I'm almost done with chapter 2 of my dissertation, so we're starting to think about the next step... but not doing anything too adventurous (moving, job applications, etc) until after the wedding in September.

We have a new puppy! So that's some news... check my journal if you want to read about the saga of his medical condition and see some cute pics. :D

Chapter 2 of your dissertation... uuuuuuuuuugh, my head starts to throb just thinking about that kind of work!

Glad to hear the wedding's still on and that you are trying to keep the stress level down for, at least, the next few months.

I'll check your journal... I hope your little pup is ok NOW and that you posted lots of pics!

Summer: I'm shipping little GM to Ohio for a nice visit with his grandparents next Tuesday so, I'll have plenty of free time to head up to Chicago for a few days to reconnect with some old pals and get everything packed for the rest of my (our) gypsy summer. Little GM will arrive home June 8... in time to head to Minnesota on June 13. We will be staying in a rustic cabin on a small lake near the town of Walker, MN (see Leech Lake area on a map) for a week of fishing and fun. Then we'll either continue North into Canada to meander along the Northern shore of Lake Superior or go East across WI and down through the UP of MI to stay at the cottage for a couple of weeks. I'm flying out to LA, July 19, for a 2 week stay. I might have a chance to meet CalPeg and KitchenWitch! Then I'll head back to Northern Mi to finish out the summer. It's gonna be a great and I can't wait!!!
