1. Fine...your turn at the question of my day.

Which is preferable for a first date with someone you've met off the internet, but whom you are more interested-in than usual? If they're smart, fun and pretty it needs to be extendable...if they look like my uncle Chuck and have the personality of lint; think bacon is a vegetable; or say Dubya's doing a great job then I'd like to be free to limit it to about 30-45 minutes:

a.) fancy coffee-shop for an espresso and chocolate.

b.) trendy bar for a cocktail.

c.) blacklight mini-golf.

d.) tea-house for rooibos and raspberry-vanilla cake.

e.) lunch date.

f.) My co-worker's art show opening at a trendy gallery.

g.) My other co-workers' theatre workshop show at the community college.


Note: a,b and d showcase talents of mine.

c keeps me from analyzing every square inch of her face. A bad habit. Useful for catching skin cancer though.

e is expected and fairly-conventional.

f and g show that I'm cool, have interesting friends and provide me with an "out"...but might be extreme content. Also, it might give me an excuse to bail on something I'm expected to go to but don't really want to attend.
