40. ah. thanks
I've always wanted an orange cat, and I've never had one. I've had five cats, and Molly's my most recent. I was determined to find an orange kitten this time.

I found her, and she is far and away the funniest, cutest, sweetest cat I've ever had. She loves attention, is incredibly friendly and outgoing to everybody, and makes the funniest damned noises. She squeaks, trills, purrs, chirps.... anything but a real "meow".

She comes when called, talks if you so much as look at her, and has charmed the neighborhood. Everybody who meets her says "if all cats were like this, everybody's have a cat."

She's a keeper.

along Skyline Drive. It was about 10pm in late November. He crossed the road right in front of the car and jumped up an outcrop of rocks alongside the road. Very cool!

37. Cool!
Several years ago I was out for a hike one morning in the open space north of Boulder, CO. and saw a cougar at about 100 yards away. He saw me at the same time....we both just stood there and looked at each other for a couple minutes till he decided to take off running.

One of my friends here in Montana is helping out on the yearly lynx survey. They see lots of tracks but sightings are VERY rare.

There are occasional reports of Lynx in the Shenandoah; but only in the most remote areas of the park. Can't say as I blame them!

26. I voted "all" and would like to include...
these two - my late, great kitties, Broadway and Montrose, named after the Chicago intersection I was living near when I adopted them.

On the right is Broadway, genus Great American Orange Stupid. On the left is Montrose, the girliest girl cat ever. RIP, kids.

58. Well my roommate has two cats as well. . .
So Quinn has plenty to keep him busy (he annoys the hell out of the two older cats).

The other two are camera shy, but this is the female, her name is G2 (my roommates always give their cats goofy names, G2 stands for Good Girl, my old roommate had an 18 year old cat named Darlin', why can't I have a roommate with normal names for the cats?)

She's a really pretty cat, she has alot of orange highlights to her fur that you can't really see in a photo. She's also very affectionate.

The other cat in the house is a male, black and white domestic shorthair. He's alwasy hiding or running, so I haven't gotten any good pictures of him yet. Maybe this weekend.

A. Long-hair marmalade tabby. Too sure of himself.

B. Long-hair girly-girl, with long whiskers. Means she doesn't work.

C. White cat. Good pose, needs exercise.

D. Black and White. Could be cool, but looks pissed off.

E. All girl, and scares our Attorney General.
