20. A stranger at the Houston airport asked me for my opinion...

on Gay marriage because it was on headline news while we waited to board the plane.

I told him that "with all the violence, terrorism, and hatred that surrounds me, why should I judge those who love?" His response: "jeez, I was just asking". I thought that was odd because I didn't say it in an agressive manner. Then I said "well it doesn't negatively impact my marriage at all so why should I care if two other people want to marry?" and then he rolled his eyes.

What drove me nuts was that he was African-American and I'm a woman. Together we are better off from the history of two different equal rights movements in this country - civil rights and women's rights and yet here he was judging the equal rights battle of another. Drives me fucking nuts!
