Dog survives ordeal on 'electrified' snowbank
Abandoned cable suspected in pet's severe shock

EDMONTON - Lucy the dog is jittery but otherwise seemingly fine after surviving a bizarre case of electric shock from power that apparently leaked into the ground.

"She was just vibrating electricity," her owner Kyla Sentes said. "Every time I touched her, I got shocked."

Sentes said she thinks Lucy's heart stopped and restarted during the incident last Thursday.

Epcor electricians on Tuesday found what they think was the source of the problem -- an abandoned underground cable that once powered lights for a church sign.

1. it's just god's way of saying "remember me?"
he always likes to hurt, maim, or kill some living creatures whenever we stop praying and sacrificing to him enough.
