How the intercourse can any carbon-based lifeform consider EATING a boring chore to be avoided at any cost? Homework? Understandable. Going to sleep? Understandable? Bathing? Uh... sort of. But EATING?????

The way my 7yo looks at her dish as if it was a pile of clothes she has to iron makes me go nuts.

Naps as well. I myself can't imagine turning down the opportunity to take a nap, yet it's like torture to my kids.

2. I'm kind of weird about eating.

I very rarely enjoy eating, and only eat when I'm hungry. I loathe gatherings in which eating is involved.

I wish I had an aversion towards eating, then I wouldn't weigh 240 lbs.

4. Ive got the same problem with my 8yo

If he puts up a fuss and says he doesnt want to eat, he doesnt have to. For the rest of the night he is rewarded by watching his brothers eat a popcicle or cookies or whatever, and he gets nothing. Took a few times to get the message through to him but it works.
