Hey ya, Charlie Brown!
Anyone else seen this yet? If not, find it soon -- Universal is trying to get it off the Internet.

3. It used to be at venisproductions.com
But they've since pulled it off. I got it from Kazaa. I don't have a link. Sorry.

Won't be there for long, it's being followed all over the Web by cease-and-desist orders.

9. Why the cease and desist order?
I hate this aspect of the intellectual properties right laws. In the past an work was available to be modified by others thus increasing the value to society.

In the Anime world this aspect is well documented in the offshoot branch of Anime Music Videos. Its the same as seen in this vid. People take clips and segements from shows and set it to music.

12. Ever see this doc about intellectual property?
http://www.othercinema.com/filmography/sonout.html

"Sonic Outlaws", Directed by Craig Baldwin:

"...Mr. Baldwin who expressed his own interest in culture-jamming and recontextualization through practices like altering billboards before making this documentary collage, explores the implications of this approach. These sonic outlaws specialize, according to one of them, in "capturing the corporate-controllec subjects of the one way media barrage, reorganizing them to be a comment upon themselves and spitting them back into the barrage for cultural consideration." Those interviewed here, including members of Negativland, John Oswald and the Tape-Beatles, speak of such tactics as both cultural criticism and subversive fun. Sonic Outlaws does some recontextualization of its own by connecting such appropriation art to its antecedents: anything from Cubism or Dada to using Silly Putty to copy comic-book drawings..."

It's the best visual record of the historical cultural impact of 'sampling', I've ever seen. It's a very funny movie, too. Buy it and support an indie artist!

13. It's probably the 'just want to make you come-a" line.
The Peanuts people won't go for that.
