Woo-Hoo! It's a great start to the day! (Road Rage Revenge Story)

I was driving to work this morning, and I was in the right hand lane of two southbound lanes. The right hand lane happened to be moving faster than the left at the moment.

I noticed in my rear view mirror a big-ass black pickup truck barrelling down the road, weaving aggressively through traffic.

He got to me, and immediately started tailgating, very aggressively. He was inches from my bumper, flashing his brights, leaning on his horn and gesturing very rudely.

I couldn't have gone any faster if I had wanted to; the traffic was dense, and I couldn't speed up. Given that he was higher up in his vehicle, he could see that I had no options.

So I sat there, watching him curse me.

Suddenly, I noticed flashing red and blue lights behind him.

A cop was pulling him over.

As I continued driving, I watched as he pulled over to the shoulder, and a cop car pulled over right behind him.

I made sure the truck driver saw me wave goodbye to him as I drove away.

Such sweet, poetic justice...

When someone does that to me, I usually slow down, if I can do so safely. That really pisses them off.

have been any better. It doesn't happen often enough. But I felt much better watching it go down.

11. Ah, revenge is sweet.

Something similar happened to me. A big white pickup truck was tailgating me on 575 one afternoon. I couldn't go any faster because the car in front of me was creeping along. Well, the guy finally got around me into the other lane and started to fly. He came up on a car in front of him too fast as the other car hit its brakes. He couldn't stop soon enough and overturned into a ditch. Sorry to say, but I had no sympathy for him.
