Woman Lived With Sister's Corps - Sometimes Slept In Same Bed

DUBLIN (Reuters) - An elderly Irishwoman shared a room with her sister's corpse for up to a year and sometimes slept with it in the same bed, newspapers reported Tuesday.

Mary Ellen Lyons never told anyone that her sister Agnes had died, the reports said. Even their brother Michael, who lived in the same remote bungalow in rural western Ireland, did not know.

An inquest heard Monday that Agnes probably died in 2002 -- possibly in September -- at the age of 70.

However, her body was only discovered in August 2003 when Mary Ellen fell ill and had to be taken to hospital.

4. Last week...

the local fishwrap had a story about an adopted girl who was taken back from her new parents.

The kid was regularly told to take food up to the uncle's room and do other things for the uncle. Problem is, the uncle had been dead for months.

When questioned, the mother said she hardly ever saw her brother, and never noticed that he died.

I know of a juvenile in custody who was found to have a dead deer carcass hidden under his waterbed. He had hid it there for at least a few weeks in the empty hole in the frame under that mattress. He uh "had relations" with it.
