Motorhead Will Play London's Royal Opera House
heehee

<snip>

THEY might be used to the idea of burly men singing very loudly, but regular patrons of London's Royal Opera House could be in for a shock when the world's loudest rock band takes over their hallowed halls for a one-off concert.

Motorhead, a British group whose near-30-year career has been marked by albums such as "Killed by Death" and "Iron Fist", have been booked to play at the Opera House this weekend, The Guardian newspaper has reported.

The concert by the group once certified by the Guinness Book of Records as the world's loudest is part of a series of events around London to showcase the city's cultural breadth.

1. Forsooth, Lemmy is God.
Having said that, Lemmy is also one of the smarter people I have ever met. Well read(hey, you gotta do SOMETHING during all those long...uhh...weeks of crank runs), well spoken(albeit in his usual growl) and just a really nice and considerate gentleman.

That is, when he isn't boinking drummers from grrl bands in bathroom stalls. ;-)

But the real gem of the band is Phillip Anthony "Philthy Animal" Taylor. Funnier than shit. When he and Brian Robertson get together, you WILL wet your pants, guarenteed.

I know. I have. Literally. :D
