1. You've become one of "them"
A HDTV snob.

Sort of like the people who fly first class one time, and go on and on about how they could never ever fly coach.

Screw you.

(:sarcasm:, in case you can't tell.)

4. I've got an HD TV
had it for years, but only recently HD cable became available, but it's too expensive to justify. The bf keeps urging me to switch to satellite, so we may be doing that soon. But then that means I need an HD Tivo...

7. My HD cable only costs $6 a month more than I was paying for regular digital service
And MTV in HD is freakin' incredible - I was watching some band I didn't know and the dude's Telecaster - you could see every scratch of mojo on it! Didn't even particularly like the band, but the picture was amazing!!

9. What brand is it?
We're thinking about buying HD but the size would be smaller, 32" in our case.

10. We got the Toshiba REGZA - LCD, 1080p
Costco had 'em on sale for significantly less than other makes. The picture is as good as I've seen on any HD brand.

11. It's amazing with really effects-heavy movies, especially.
If you don't have an upscaling DVD player I highly recommend getting one. They're cheap, and the difference in picture quality is well worth it.

Because I don't give a flying phk about HD. I'm interested in hearing from female HD fans--are there any out there?

we have a big screen TV and quite a few of our channels are HD... watching lost in HD is awesome. discovery channel in HD is my favorite though - especially with shows like planet earth. of course the movie channels in HD are cool too. ;)
