The Hybrid's analysis of this week's Battlestar Galactica (possible spoilers)
Edited on Sun May-11-08 08:46 PM by Cannikin

Hybrid: Ask will it come to pass? The dying leader will know the truth of the opera house. The missing three will give you the five, who have come from the home of the thirteenth. You are the harbinger of death Kara Thrace. You will lead them all to their end.

The dying leader will know the truth of the opera house. (what the frak?)

missing three will give you the five, (the boxed #3's)

who have come from the home of the thirteenth. (Earth or Kobol?)

Oh yeah, just for comparison:

1. Very interesting stuff, that's for sure.
Maybe Roslin will discover who the Final Five are before she dies? We already know that Three has seen their faces - or at least ONE of their faces... Maybe the Final Five went to Earth and returned, or perhaps they were created there and sent to find the Twelve Colonies and see if anyone was still there...

I don't know. My head kind of hurt after last night's episode, just thinking about all the stuff the Hybrid's words could mean.

2. That pretty much sums it up...

3. I always thought that Roslin's facist tendencies were a little odd...
Knowing that she's a member of the BFEE brings it all into context.

Think about it...
-She thinks that it's divine will that she's President--not elected to either term.
-She thinks that it's just fine and dandy to bend/break/re-write laws just to suit her own agenda.
-Along the same line, she has a healthy dislike for the rule of law and the rights of the accused.
-Summary executions without trial. (Is getting tossed out an airlock cruel? It's certainly unusual.)
-Refuses to recognize the 'enemy' as human.
-Big fan of the unitary executive.
