I was republican until the 6th grade. Then Newt Gingrich's ugly face was on Time Magazine like every week, and I just decided "fuck it, I'll be a Democrat." God I've never even considered being Republican since 1994 :)

13. I have only voted for a Republican once.

On the local level. And only because I knew the man personally and knew he was far-and-away the best candidate for the job.

Other than that, all straight Dem tickets.

So, can you like, teach me from your experience? After you vote Republican do you have to take a whole bunch of showers?

You should run a "scared straight" program for Dems to keep them from ever going GOP, just like, you know, ex-addicts who go tell good, non-drug-taking kids DON'T START!!! :-)

I'm not convinced about Sacramento. They're great in the regular season, but suck sweaty balls in the playoffs. The Lakers are too old and injured to do any damage.
