My grandpa just died.
I just heard about it an hour ago. He was 68. Apparently he died in his sleep. I'm gonna miss him a whole lot.

Thank you guys for being supportive in this type of manner. I'll see you all next week. Until then, I ask for you all to pray for my family.

Goodbye for now.

2. I'm so very sorry to hear this, Goldberg...
I know that you'll miss your grandpa, and that he was an important figure in your life. A sudden departure like his is particularly difficult for the living to cope with.

My best thoughts to you and your family in this difficult time.

Take good care -- O8)

Sancta Maria, Mater Dei,

Gloria Patri,

Sicut erat in principio,
et nunc,
et semper,
et in saecula saeculorum.

Amen.

8. Sorry to hear of your loss..
My thought are with you and your family. Although I do not know you, I take the death of anyone to heart. Remember the good times you had together. Do something in his honor, even if it's something small like plant a flower at his grave or put a small momento in his casket. That's what I did when my grandma died over the summer.

By the way, Loving your screen name and avatar. When I watched wresling, Goldberg was my favorite.

11. You have my prayers.
He was too young. But I hope I can go in my sleep, it is a good way to go...with a sweet dream. You didn't have him as long as you would have wanted but savor the times that you did. I am so sorry and I hope you will be ok and the same for your family.

30. Grandpas Are Special People
I was very close to my father's dad when I was a kid. Since I had bright read hair, I was his favorite grandchild - he would take me out in the fields of his farm, we'd eat cucumbers hot off the vine, I'd help him feed the chickens. I had trouble understanding him, since he spoke Lithuanian and I didn't, but I knew he loved me and that was all tha mattered.

He died of cancer in 1961, when I was 8 - I still miss him. :-(

Remember the good times you had with your grandpa.

31. An update on what's going on:
Thank you all for being so supportive. I'm really grateful for that. It's really nice knowing that people I don't even know care so much. Thanks again.

It's now 1:30 am, and the hustle and bustle has died down...for now, and I tried to sleep, but it's been so hard. I found out grandpa died in his sleep, so he didn't suffer at all, which I'm grateful for. Apparently it was a sudden heart attack he had. :( He was only 66. (I got his age confused with my other grandpa.)

Thanks again for the support. I'll see you all next week.
