I got my bottom braces on

my top ones are plastic and kind of not glaring
my bottoms are the classic metal braces....
yes tinsel teeth...

all I can say is it's a good thing I bought a new blender because I think I will have to drink all my meals for a while.... :(

or what ever its called

mine are on my chart as sapphire
for the tops

the invisalines are about 5k
my niece just looked into them.
they do take a little extra time.
My Ortho has a payment plan, $250 a month...

or more if I can afford it..
they should look into it!!

I had braces for 3 and a half years, however, I guess it was somewhat different for me since I had them from the time I was 11 to the time I was 14.

It was annoying and painful at times, but well worth it!

year and a half in braces, most of the time with an external neckband and enough rubber bands to distribute newspapers... no fancy braces back in the mid-1970s, looked like the grill of some 1950s car when I smiled...headgear was hell to sleep in, had to wear it all the time except when eating, like wearing train's cow-catcher on my head


Hang in there. Hot tomato (or other pureed vegetable) soup for first 3 days every time they get tightened. After that, the pain goes down to tolerable levels.
