14. Yes.
Disagree with me all you like. Tell me why. Debate. Express your disagreement. Express your opinion. It takes a higher level of debating/communication skill to express disagreement with courtesy, IMO.

But if you tell me to shut the fuck up I'm likely to stuff my boots down your throat while saying something like, "My friend, I would like to commend you for your obvious passion about beating the incumbent in the coming general election. I, however, retain my right to vote for anybody or anything I choose. Moreover, I retain the right to voice my opinion about the election and the candidates, in public and in private. And I will defend those rights as vigorously as you oppose them. Thank you for your participation."

15. i fully intend to vote my heart in the upcoming ca. primary
DK or AS,,though i haven't made up my mind yet.2 reasons 1.they can say things you won't hear from "conventional wisdom" type candidates 2.convention leverage for those of us tired of being dragged over the "center" to the conservative side of the platform.i think every candidate who participated in ther primaries should be offered cabinet positions, even joe.

17. I agree with both 1 and 2.
I'll add #3. Best on every single issue. And we should be electing candidates based on issues, IMO.

Come November, if the dems run anyone or anything better than bush, he/she/it will have my vote. If not DK, I suggest my dog, an australian shepherd.

Rain's platform includes:

1. Unconditional love of all. No grudges.
2. Concern about the whole herd; she will constantly check on them, count them, reassure them, and round them up to make sure they aren't left out or left behind.
3. Loyal guarding of her home and family. In this case, the nation.
4. Learns quickly. Knows how to get her way without fighting about it. Quietly achieves the agenda.
5. A uniter, not a divider. She's convinced cats, chickens, and dog-haters that she is benign, gentle, and worth the time to talk to.
6. Insistence on the agenda. She makes sure we all know what the agenda is, and "hounds" us until we achieve it. Play, food, drink, a ride in the car, a cuddle, grooming, a walk, whatever. If it's on the agenda, she will make sure you do it.

18. But is your Aussie old enough?
has to be 35, doesn't she?

(and to those who think an Aussie can't be President, I remind them the breed was actually developed here.)

19. She is only 10 months old.
And already more presidential and humane than George W. Bush.

I guess, in dog years, she isn't quite there yet. ;-)
