Just re-watched Summertime with Katharine Hepburn, co-starring, Venice!
It is dated, but still wonderful. It's a love story to Venice, but it also makes you realize how great Kate was, because a lesser actress would have been overshadowed by all that beautiful scenery. I gotta go again. Anyone else been? I've been to Venice twice...once in September, and once in January, but never in summer (like in the film) when the sky is so blue.

Can't wait to go back. I don't think I've seen that movie, I will check it out! :thumbsup:

2. From 1955, so like I said, dated, but the digital transfer to DVD is
very good and the colors are incredible! :hi:

4. I did a search on the kid who played Mauro...nothing except a couple
other movies where he played a kid as well, all around 1955...guess he got out of the biz.

Yeah, movies don't get anymore wonderfully romantic than Summertime.
