11. Perry's White Lightning...RIP best flavor ever :*(
as described by Perry's: "Dark chocolate ice cream with streaks of thick mint flavored white fudge lightning swirls. Get struck by the awesome power of White Lightning"

It was sooooo good...the chocolate was so dark and rich, and the white mint fudge stripes melted in the mouth...my family loved this ice cream so much my little sister wrote to Perry's bemoaning its limited availability. They sent her some coupons but it won't make up for it.

28. Yellow
Sorry...an in-joke I could not resist.

It's from an old Dr. Hook & The Medicine Show interview (1973, given away as a free 45 RPM record with their third album "Belly Up"), in which Dennis Locorriere asked Ray Sawyer "What is your favorite food?" He replied "Yellow." Locorriere asked "Yellow? Sawyer replied "Anything yellow. Chicken beaks, chicken feet..."

I guess you had to be there.

52. I'll call today.
He keeps a herd of Devon cattle (highest butter fat ratio of any breed); so his ice cream and other milk products are lethal. He also keeps bees and uses the honey in the ice cream. So it isn't that his recipes are unique; it's the diet busting ingredients.

57. Devons
In the early '70s I bought 2 Devon steers and a heifer from Myron Green in Connecticut.
Jerry Mullen of Tunbridge, Vermont rode down with me and helped me (a rank novice) pick them out.
Old Sturbridge Village in Mass. used to get their Devons from Green. If I could afford them I would keep a few just for pets. At the time I was milking a Jersey and making "diet busting" butter and ice cream, that and and the 50 odd laying hens I had provided me with a lot of good eating, though I had to work my butt off to keep my weight in check.
Thank you very much for your reply.

59. The Devons are as sweet as their milk.
There's one at friend's farm that always comes over for a forehead scratch. "Oh thank you. That's very nice. Now, if you would, behind the ears. Aahh, thank you again."

Friend said he'll e-mail the recipe ASAP.

a run of the mill lemon.

Now I'm loving strawberry, and I'm always interested in a good coffee (Haagen Dazs has FANTASTIC coffee).

I like fruit with a good vanilla and hot fudge too -- raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, blueberries. Throw in a banana, and it's heavenly.
