25. Outlets of Death, I've got 'em.
In my old house (over a century old, built with square nails) I have 220 outlets that are cleverly disguised as 110V outlets. So they are taped over.

My grandparents never hired an electrician to fix them, because that would COST MONEY. Even though my sister (their oldest grandchild) fried a hair dryer in one outlet, and she almost fried herself in the bathroom touching an ungrounded fluorescent fixture next to the bathroom mirror.


I hate it when people refuse to spend any money for safety, especially for potentially lethal conditions like 220 outlets.
