Injured and embarrassed by 8:05 a.m. I'm ahead of schedule!
Today I brought JackMN to preschool, and when I opened the (big, heavy) front door of the building, he stopped and refused to go inside. I turned around to see what he was doing and accidentally let go of the door, which swung shut. In the process of shutting, the big metal push bar on the door slammed directly into my right hip bone. It hurt so badly that I immediately doubled over all crooked-like, went "aughhh!", and careened into a nearby fence.

Most of the preschool staff were standing about fifteen feet from the door, watching as the kids arrived, so they ALL saw me. One of them came out and asked if I was alright, and all I could muster was a pathetic, warbled, "yeahhh...I don't do real well with doors..." God, I'm a dork.

:P

4. From one klutz to another, "I feel your pain".
Why is there always a whole crowd of people around when these things happen to us????

I was in a bar once and a man standing at the bar lost his trousers. They fell right to his feet and he pulled them back up so fast that I was the only person in the place to see it. Conversely, I was playing volleyball years ago in a button back halter top. When I went to spike the ball the button flew off and I flashed the entire team. Everyone saw it. Nothing hurts worse than a severely sprained dignity. Months later at a party a guy came up to me and said hello. Then said, "You play volleyball, right?'. For a moment I thought it really might be possible to die of embarrassment!

7. Or ANY undies!
A thousand years ago I was going with a devastatingly attractive young lady. It was summer, and she wore a sundress and NOTHING else.

The wind caught the front of it, and she gave about 30 people "The Full Monty."

For about the next hour she was blushed so badly I swear it looked like sunburn.
