How would you find it? Assuming that it wasn't obvious Lounge-fodder, or the like?

1. I think moving a thread during Defcon4 would create a gaping tear in the space-time continuum

2. My dear Orrex...
Well, when a thread is moved, the outline of it still remains where you posted it!

And it says inside that the thread has been moved, and it tells you where...

Seek and you shall find, sweetie!

3. Well, what I meant was...

Given the huge volume of traffic, a locked-and-moved thread will quickly sink and be difficult to find, considering the absence of the Search function at that time.

Worse, if you've posted to a thread without knowing who posted the OP, you might never find it!

All is lost! The sky is falling!

5. Not during Defcon3
Your posts during that rarefied time aren't logged to your "My Recent Posts."

6. I didn't know that...
I may not have ever been around during a Defcon3.

7. Yeah--I had forgotten about it until last night
Then all of a sudden I couldn't find my recent posts.

It felt like that time I accidentally cut off my head.

8. Off-topic, but I feel the need to post this quote from Wilson's Dydeetown World:
Being decapitated will always rank as my most memorable experience.
