1. It works pretty good for me.
Been taking it for about three years now and it still works pretty good. Kinda makes me a bit sleepy on a slow afternoon, tho'...

5. Interesting- I always considered it fairly harmless stuff.
It's mostly aspirin, so I always drink a glass of milk with my pills, but other than the sleepy effect it doesn't do anything else to me. And it really does help my arthritis pain.

I hope you find something that works for you.

7. Yep, that makes sense.
Aspirin and stomach ulcers don't play well together.

11. You have to eat something right before taking it-preferably bread
but anything that's at least a little filling will work.

2. It's effing worthless
In my experience, both as a patient and a nurse. Save your money and buy generic ibuprofen, if you're able to tolerate it. If you really need a narcotic painkiller, demand that your provider prescribe one that works.

18. and vicodin does nothing for me
Ultram is a synthetic codeine analogue. And codeine always worked for me when vicodin didn't. So it's nice to have a safer, less addictive alternative.

Ultram is a pain releiver...of sorts.

http://www.drugs.com/ultram.html
Ultram is a narcotic-like pain reliever.
Ultram is used to treat moderate to severe pain. Ultram extended-release is used to treat moderate to severe chronic pain when treatment is needed around the clock.
Ultram may also be used for other purposes not listed in this medication guide.

17. I just started on it yesterday
and it fucking RAWKS!

9 weeks of excruciating back pain - today I can walk. I can sleep. It's unbelievable. Vicodin did absolutely NOTHING. Now I'm a different person.

either. It makes me throw up, too. I am going to try the vicodin...and seems like there is something called Lortab...does that sound right?
