Thank Goodness For Dark Chocolate!
Ahhh! My friend just gave me a dark choco bar! That was so cool of her- it really hits the spot and as any joy in life its the small unexpected ones that get me thru the day. This day is a tough one but maybe they all are and if we can just do a small unexpected thing for someone we might just make their day! :hi:

1. I'm home today because of compounded pain.
Migraine plus arthritis is kicking my ass. And all my good chocolate is at work. x(

Today sucks! :(

3. Chocolate may not cure anything, but it sure takes ones mind off things for a moment.

8. Well I wouldn't exactly call it a cure, but.....
Dark Chocolate HAS been known to lower both blood pressure and, oddly enough, blood sugar.

Now this probably means the "Hershey's Special Dark" won't cut it and you gotta buy the good stuff, but it's worked for me, at least on the blood pressure part. I don't have blood sugar problems, so I can't speak to that part of it.

7. Amen to that, brother.
:toast: I try to always have a bar of really high-quality dark chocolate in reserve so I can break off a piece or two when I'm having a bad day...it works pretty well, I've found.

16. I am the only one of my parents and siblings that doesn't care for sweets.
They can eat frosting out of a can. And most of them are diabetic too.

My mom swears I was switched at birth, LOL!
