1. I'd like to find your inner child and kick its little ass.
Best. Line. Of. A. Song. Ever.

10. I have to agree - it's a great tune, and yeah, it ain't Shakespeare
but it's not supposed to be - I love it, myself!

6. Seconded.
If I never hear an Eagles song again I will die a happy man.

7. I'm with you
anytime an Eagles song comes on the radio I immediately change the station. As far as I'm concerned the only good song they did was Hotel California and I've heard that one about 10,000 times so I can't stand it either.

8. Get Over It!
It's been my experience that it's those most in need of having their
inner child's ass kicked detest the song for reasons all too obvious.

I'm with Midlodemocrat on this one--

"Best. Line. Of. A. Song. Ever."

9. Certainly wasn't worth waiting 14 years for.
I like a lot of the Eagles stuff that they recorded in their original career, but nothing since their 1994 reunion has impressed me very much.

11. It's preachy crap, like a lot of later-day Don Henley. Here's a better "Get Over It":
This is a British band called the Guillemots.
