Watched Darwin's Nightmare last night on DVD. Very depressing.

Watched Darwin's Nightmare last night on DVD. Very depressing.
Nile Perch introduced into Lake Victoria have wiped out the native cichlids that were the mainstay of local subsistence fisheries. Now the Nile Perch filets get shipped to Europe and the locals get to eat the carcasses. Russian planes from Europe bring arms to Africa and take back fish. Very depressing.
