Congratulations Mississippi DUers!
According to the DU Donation Leaderboard, we had seven contributions to place us (%wise) ahead of Alabama, Louisiana, and Arkansas and just under Tennessee.

Overall, our state placed a respectable 32nd among the 50 odd categories on that list.

Not bad for the most conservative state in the union!

1. Nowadays, I think Mississippi is more liberal than AL, GA, and AR.

Back in the civil rights days, they used to say "If you can break Mississippi, you can break the South", and I think MS was the most racist and right-wing back then.

But currently, I believe that it's a relatively more progressive place than Alabama, Arkansas or Georgia (not counting Atlanta).

Good work, Mississippi!!!:thumbsup::thumbsup:
