2. Hey, if my mother had insisted on a "natural" birth...

I wouldn't be here. Personally, I think if I were in that position, I'd want to have medical professionals around (since childbirth is one of the more inherently dangerous natural processes going).

So, you throws the dice and you takes your chances, but I still don't think there's cause to be snarky on either side.

6. I had 3 children that were born at home

the last one by his father (no Midwife) and I was 42. It came out pretty well. I also had 2 children born one in a birthing center and one in a hospital bed and he was born 12 minutes after I arrived at the hospital,that was when I decided to forego anymore hospital births. I have never had any pain medication and I was just fine. I am a strong advocate for being in control of your birth and birthing naturally.
