I guess that's two questions. How did he figure out how to vote multiple times and why only five times, and what is so appealing about.... okay THREE questions. I have three questions for Oedi....

71. I'd buy the DVDs but it seems they changed the music due to
copyright issues...

Now I wish I had kept all the copies I recorded. But getting them off the Beta tapes would be hard!

72. Yeah, I was so disappointed
Initially they said they were going to try their best to get the rights to most of the music that had been on the show, but somewhere in the middle of their effort they said "forget it". And that got the DVD set yanked right off my Amazon wish list. It's gotta have the music, man!

I had a friend many years ago who swore she'd never, EVER give up her beta machine. Pretty prescient, I'd say! I wonder if that old boat anchor still works...

20. The Wonders ~That Thing You Do~
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fzllVlzzeuo

You,
Doin' that thing you do,
Breaking my heart into a million pieces,
Like you always do
And you,
Don't mean to be cruel,
You never even knew about the heartache,
I've been going through
Well I try and try to forget you girl,
But it's just so hard to do,
Every time you do that thing you do

I,
Know all the games you play,
And I'm gonna find a way to let you know that,
You'll be mine someday
'Cause we,
Could be happy can't you see,
If you'd only let me be the one to hold you,
And keep you here with me
'Cause I try and try to forget you girl,
But it's just so hard to do,
Every time you do that thing you do

I don't ask a lot girl,
But I know one thing's for sure,
It's the love I haven't got girl,
And I just can't take it anymore

'Cause we,
Could be happy can't you see,
If you'd only let me be the one to hold you,
And keep you here with me
Cause it hurts me so just to see you go,
Around with someone new,
And if I know you you're doin' that thing,
Every day just doin' that thing,
I can't take you doing that thing you do

Who did a cod rockumentary about their tour in 1983 - a full year before Spinal Tap.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bad_News_Tour

"I could play "Stairway to Heaven" when I was twelve. Jimmy Page didn't actually write it until he was twenty-two. I think that says quite a lot."

33. I wanted to say Spinal Tap, but I think they're a real band
Based on the fact that the actors portraying the band are really writing, playing and singing the songs. That makes them as real as KISS or GWAR.

So I vote DETHKLOK!!!!

wasn't an option.

I like Steel Dragon a whole lot, and even have some of their mp3s on my mp3 player... but Spinal Tap is fucking hilarious.
