Mama my mem'ry fails me
The one day I need to 'member my name
They're gonna introduce me today
To the man who has no shame

We're gonna walk through the mud
And trudge betwix the sticks
That will slice and jab our fragile skin
Before we hit the bricks

Snapping crisp twigs as we move
To see some woodsy guy
He's 'sposed to take away our troubles
But that too will go awry

This man is a prophet they say
Living among the mossy bark
I somehow have my doubts
This is just another lark

As we approach his mean old eyes
He squints all hard and tough
He says "Ask me what you need to know"
I say "Ok...I'll call your bluff"

"What say you, about my fears"?
I ask him with a grin
He sighs: "The only fear is fear itself,
but fear is not a sin".

"That's not too bad, but I've heard better"
In his old ear I laugh and holler
"That's all good and well my son,
now pay this prophet his dollar".

1. Here's some crap I wrote Friday Night...

John the Baptist is giving Jesus Christ his daily briefing. He concludes by saying: "Yesterday, 3 Brazilian soldiers were killed."

"OH NO!" Jesus exclaims. "That's terrible!"

His staff sits stunned at this display of emotion, nervously watching as Jesus sits, head in hands.

Finally, Jesus looks up and says, "I know how many a brazillion is!"
