I think Fidelity Investments really screwed up here.
Showing how much their investments gain, in a TV ad.

The music playing?

Blondie, "Call Me."

Yup, theme music for "American Gigolo," about a male prositute. :-)

2. They are big Bush players...
Another Website recently had a thread all about Bush and Fidelity and some dealings between the 2...I forget the details, but other folks added their experiences dealing with F, saying it's a PERFECT Republican company.

Since my 401K through my company is with them, I stopped all contributions immediately, and am shopping around for alternatives. I recently picked up an Utne magazine, and there are all sorts of progressive leaning investment alternatives to the Repug Financial Centers.

They invest in new energy technologies, companies that care for the environment, etc.

I suggest we all begin looking into them.
