But haven't lived there since I joined the USAF in '83. I go back from time to time to visit family. I'm coming back to visit this summer though.

Right now I'm in Virginia

I don't know if the bakery is still there. So much has changed over the years. I'm always surprised by something new every time I go back.

23. You're gonna love the changes in downtown Detroit

All the redevelopment near the new stadiums and the Brush Park area has meant a virtual rebirth to the area. The Compuware HQ and Campus Martius area is well on it's way. The Ren Cen has torn down the fortress wall that surrounded it. The Riverfront has been fixed up from Hart Plaza down past the Hockey arena, with plans to carry the river walkway all the way up to Belle Isle. The Cadillac Hotel is going to be restored. I'm hoping to see the Madison-Lennox restored, and the Michigan Central RR Depot. Plus, they cleaned the old grease off of the French fryer at Lafayette Coney Island.
