My favorite restaurant is The Boiling Pot, which is a Cajun seafood place.

3. It's a fondue place..

different than any other dining experience.. they give you your food raw (filet mignon, chicken, teriaky beef, mahi mahi & shrimp, vegies.. ) in bite size pieces and you have a hot plate with boiling boilion or peanut oil..and you cook it yourself with the skewers.. and like 8-10 awesome dipping sauces and batters... It is indeed a great social experience.

I'll have to try it out sometime. I'm in Austin.

Boiling Pot is a very social place, as well. You can choose from several different combos and they boil all the stuff up in a Cajun boil (shrimp, crawfish, king crab, snow crab, blue crab, sausage, new potatos, corn) and just dump it all on the table.

I ate at one of those in Delaware. It was good, but it was also a great social experience.
