I am not familiar with that term. Is this for a college class or high school?

6. Try not being so derogative.

Those sources you speak of of are properly called "Conservative talk radio hosts" and they would likely defend all forms of Free speech not just the ones they agree with. So before you start if you want to be heard as something more than a Hateful person yourself, put aside your "Hate" and argue the FACTS!! If you feel these people are truly bottom feeders cite the failures and adverse consequences of their policies and back it up with Facts not just your feelings. And most importantly LISTEN to the shows that you are writing about, and visit their web sites. When you can defeat their arguments with facts not shouting you can write your paper. And yes I am part time faculty (NOT English)!

9. "hate" radio

The original post referred to the conservative host as "Hate(talk)radio". And I feel they mean that in a derogatory manner. It is my "seasoned" (old man) opinion that little is gained from using derogatory descriptions for your opponent of your arguments. For example when Rush Limbaugh calls members of NOW "NAGS", he hurts himself and his cause.

15. 760 AM WJR Detroit = The Hate Voice of the Great Lakes

They call themselves the "Great voice of the Great Lakes", but let's face it: They're the voice of hate. They have that right wing propogandist, Paul Dubyah Smith on every morning cheerleading for the right wing. Then they bombard us with Limbaugh, "Dr." Laura, Hannity, Drudge etc. They've earned the title "The HATE Voice of the Great Lakes".

16. You forgot Mitch Albom

You forgot Mich Albom 3 to 6 pm. I get the end of his show if I am lucky enough to get out of work that early every day. And I would hardly call Albom "Hate" voice. In fact I would not call any of the WJR show host Hate speech. Why is it that you must be so intolerant of other viewpoints than your own that you must call them names and poke fun?

It's when Bill O'Reilly tells a guest to "SHUT UP! SHUT UP! SHUT UP! Cut his mike!"
It's when G. Gordon Liddy (or was it Ollie North?) describes IN DETAIL how to kill a federal officer. On the air.
It's when Rush Limbaugh calls them "feminazis".
It's when Hannity puts "liberalism" in the same line as "terorism" and "despotism" on the title of his new book.
It's when Michael Savage calls someone a "sodomite" and finishes with "I hope you get AIDS and die!"

It's hatred. Pure and simple.
It's what fuels them. It's what beats through their dark hearts. It's what is wrong with them.
We're not poking fun. We're telling the truth about them.
