1. Love - passionately
I want to make sweet love with their viands.

Well, okay, maybe I got a little carried away there. But they are good

7. So recycle them.
It isn't that hard! They're not styrofoam.

They are great for packing lunches in, for freezing leftovers, camping, picnicing, travelling and storage.

Egads! NOT shopping at a great, organically and locally oriented grocery store with OUTSTANDING products is cutting off your nose to spite your face.

11. why recycle when it's easier to just not consume?
I can get far better produce at farmers' markets, and I can go to an health food store that is ACTUALLY LOCALLY OWNED for what I can't get at the farmers' market.

Trader Joes is a fake health food store for the benifit of yuppies

5. Love em
Great meatballs...

Want an easy great dinner? Saute some chicken breasts, dump on a jar of their green salsa, cook for a while, add cheese.

Many good products, and pleasant folks...what's not to like?!

9. Basically love them
Great wine and snacks, and they have a fabulous dishwashing detergent (with enzymes, under their own label - check it out - works great). I have had the same feeling about the fruits/veggies in plastic, and I usually buy mine at the Pike Place Market or at another organic market in town.

Excellent point that someone made about reusing the containers, though. We are always taking our extra food (my hubby and I cook up a storm on the weekends) to some of the elderly people in our building who live alone, and these plastic things are great for that, and they don't feel like they need to bother to return them to us - plus, I know that they reuse them as well.

12. Love em for certain things, hate em for others
If they have a wine I already know on sale I will buy, otherwise their wines are a crap shoot.

On the reverse, it is easy to shop for a diabetic diet for my mother there as they carry a number of gluten free products.

BTW, their handmade tortillas are AWESOME!

16. Like 'em
For regular grocery shopping, not so much, but if I'm gonna have a party and want some fun munchies and drinks, they've got the stuff.

17. Love them passionately. Everything about them. Zero complaints.
Since my daughter grew up and moved out I never go to the "corporate grocery store" anymore. OK, maybe for one thing: ranch dressing.

I get EVERYTHING else at Trader Joe's and the farmers' market.

19. Love em
I used to work there and then I loved em even more than before. I have a few complaints though: everything seems to be flavored with either seseme or ginger, which is just overdone, and the produce sucks ass because they can't get it from local vendors and it's all packaged in plastic boxes. I am sure that in California the produce was fine, but where I worked in Seattle, it's 2-3 days older.

22. Love 'em for some things
and don't buy the others. I am very fond of some of their specialty frozen and prepared foods, and they are a good supplier of fair-trade shade-grown coffees. I don't buy staples there, or (for the most part) produce. They have great imported candies and whatnot, and their prices on vitamins and herbal supplements is much better than most drugstores.
