Put my freind Deb is your thoughts ..... kitty cat dying.

Deb is my co-worker and one of my best friends. She has to put her kitty Fireball to sleep. He around 15 years old and he's been very sick. He's down to 6lbs. It's been really hard for her. We can't really talk about it because she knows I'll start crying and that will get her started.

She's going to have him put to sleep later in the week. :cry:

I know in time she'll get another one. Me and Michael offered to go with her when she wants to get another. But that might be too tempting for us.

That is the hardest...the most painful...decision one can make...to put to sleep a loved one...a loved kitty or dog. Our family has had to make that decision several times.

Deb, her kitty and you are in my thoughts.

4. She is helping fireball despite the pain it will cause her.

Helping a friend leave is the hardest thing to do yet it is the final act of love for your friend. I am still not over my last friend I had to help leave but I would do it again in a heartbeat. She was slowly dieing of kidney failure & not having any fun anymore. I had no choice but to help her go.

I will be thinking of him. I had to have a beloved kitty put to sleep a few years ago, and I still miss him. RIP, Hamlet. Be sure to be there to greet Fireball when he arrives. :hug:
