I was there during the George Raveling years.

And they did make the championship game in 1941, losing to Wisconsin. Jack Friel was the coach. And according to the Helms Athletic Foundation, they won a national champisonship under Doc Bohler in 1917.

OMFG IT WAS DAMN NEAR THE MOST AWESOMEST GAME EVERSSS!!!!

Def in the top 10 college games of all time. It's one of the few bonafide competitors to Magic/Bird game. It would clearly win if Rose had been more of a team player. As it is, it's just in the grey area as "up there".
