I just don't understand the reasoning of people who think lyricists write lyrics thinking of what they sound like in reverse...where did this idea come up with anyways?

By the way, in re the Beatles White Album the passage referred to is on the montage "Revolution #9...play it backwards and you're supposed to hear "turn me on dead man"...
