Poll question: If it were possible to see any of these rock bands in concert whom would you choose?
One day and only ONE band. Who would you choose? Me of course Queen, although of course I know I would enjoy Spinal Tap...

1. Queen, just because I can still see most of the others....
I've already seen the Stones, Rush is coming to town next month, Led Zeppelin's probably going to reunite, and Spinal Tap's drummer would need to spontaneously combust in order for it to be a good rock 'n roll show.

4. This poll assumes that the dead can walk? And rock?
That's a near thing, then, but I'd probably want to see Keith Moon with the Who. A befreddied Queen or Bonham-laden Zep could be just as good, maybe.

7. They'd all be fucking ridiculously overpriced to see.

I'll take a $5 Fugazi reunion, thanks.

Lets say any of those bands is giving you 100% rock at a ticket price of $100. You're getting at least 6 times the rock with Fugazi, at 5% of the price.

The Clash would be three or four (maybe five) times the rock at maybe the same price, maybe a little less if zombie Strummer has his principles, so they're a good one too.

I've seen Rush, The Stones, and Styx.

The Who and Led Zep have a slight edge over Queen. I'd be a tough call, but I bet I'd choose Zeppelin if I had a gun to my head.

(I suk at speling)

20. Sorry, I'm old and was born in a dubious year
to be too young to appreciate the Beatles and the Stones, but young enough to appreciate the Monkees, Herman's Hermits and other such mid 60s groups.

One day, one band would have to be Paul Revere and the Raiders, from about 1968, as long as Mark Lindsay was there. He was my second biggest hearthrob, when I was about 11.

If I couldn't have the Raiders, I'd opt again to see (1971) the Carpenters.

I've seen Queen. Our mothers drove us! It was a while ago. I saw the Ramones, too. I think I was 17 or 18. They were in a little club in Ann Arbor.

31. Someone that might be relevant ,perhaps?
I am so looking forward to seeing this summer, Spearhead, Radiohead, Railroad Earth, Gov't Mule, Phil Lesh and Friends,Blue Turtle Seduction, Izabella,Caroly Wonderland and so many others who are making great music RIGHT NOW. I really don't have time to pay high prices to see bands that had their prime back when I was a teenager and have done nothing but play the same songs, the same way every night.
