So frustrated. Yahoo, Excite, and Myspace won't work for me. Help!

That is, I can log on but the pages load incompletely and I can't get into my email on Yahoo or Excite. DU works fine, other sites work fine. Any ideas? I've done everything I can think of.

1. Is Javascript turned off?

In Firefox it's:

Edit --> Preferences -->Content--> Enable JavaScript

4. It was off, but now it's on. I restarted the computer but am still

Jk, try clearing cookies and history, etc..

In Firefox under tools (I think) there is an option to clear private data, give that a go and see if it works.

5. I did all that. I know the basics

which is why it's annoying the heck out of me. The hospital job search goes through my Yahoo, as does everything that has to do with childcare/the husband who yesterday said he wanted to get the divorce going.

I know it sounds ridiculous, but it may work.

Beyond that what anti-virus and anti-spyware software are you running?

8. I'm using McAfee Security Center.

And yes, I restart whenever I make a critical change. But hey, I gave up, walked away and now, three hours later it's working fine!
