5. I was just there earlier in the week (It's my former town)
Dim sum in Chinatown, a touristy ride on the cable cars, and a walk through the gourmet heaven of the Ferry Building... *sigh*

12. I rode the cars a little!
Well the Muni. I feel so tough and big-city when I ride it.
I lived in NYC once but it was so long ago.. now whenever I'm on the loose in a place like SAN FRAN I think I'm all tough and stuff :headbang:

10. Great Pix of my little town!
I hope you weren't too cold--the wind is soooooo chilly and it's gale force in March and April. Sunday was especially freezing--for all others considering a visit, bring your fleece!

11. the wind.. oh god, the wind..
that got kinda bad sometimes. Whichever day we went to the zoo wasn't too chilly but the rest of the time we had to wear our layers.
I can't believe I'm still awake, I think I'm just too excited about getting all my pics posted to show off

16. the first time we went we talked to some residents in Chinatown -
the woman had lived there all her life and said she hated how cold it was there.

I'm from Pittsburgh, and I wouldn't call that cold... but then again we usually go to SF in late July.

I love that there's no humidity - that's what I don't like about living where I do.

14. "practically FORTY"
I'm so NOT young, ever since I passed 35 my friend's been calling me "practically 40" He's a year older so he's just picking on me to make himself feel younger I think.
I'm getting good at remembering to hold my chin up and stuff. (and thank Jesus for digital :))
Thank you!

18. poor elephants
They'll be mostly extinct soon but a lot of Americans hate them just because the Republicans used them  I'm sad about being human because of stuff like this, *I respect elephants no matter what the humans do with them.
